Go for a ride up to Rangeley some day. Nice views.
we have some foxes hanging around here lately. They are not super afraid of people. Had to throw a rock at one last night while i was walking my dog. One started barking a bunch of times.

perfect time to try out that new AK haha! Ended up riding 282 miles yesterday went through the Kancamagus again but not as good as the ride when I went there in May / June, a lot more traffic and they are doing construction in the middle of it so it bunch's all of the cars up at that point and makes it hard to get by everyone unless you want to sit back and just let them get far ahead of you. Route 16 past Pinkham Notch and MT Washington is a great ride as well. I'll go through this route again this fall.

Put some new grips on the bike and despite everyone saying there was not need to use any adhesive spray I had to buy some at the end of the ride yesterday and redo my throttle grip. It kept spinning on me most of the day.

yeah I remember them digging up the Kanc for culverts. Plus the real popular swimming spot is closed for work. We went through there several weeks ago.
You know its going to be busy in the summer time.
There is also a nice stretch of road going from Berlin to Colebrook and then you come back RT26 toward Rumford area. Real nice swimming holes along 26. Stop at the Sunday River brewing company for some good food and beer.

Nice bass mike, saw them on FB. Bryan my whole trunk area smelled like mouse piss b/c they used it as a toilet last winter. I got the smell out for the most part but had to cut out my trunk liner.

Went down to a friends yesterday to work on the bike, have had a wired buzzzing / rattling sound for awhile. Turned out to be the Cam Chain Tensioner. Easy and inexpensive fix but when I got there I also dropped the bike. His driveway is very steep and it was washed out from the bad rain storms. Was just in a really bad spot overall and tried to get it back down on my own and to much angle trying to turn it around and to steep and to much lose gravel and down it went. Thinking I might buy a whole new fairing kit this winter anyway, this one is not of the best quality and its to much of an eye sore to leave it as it is.

could have been worse. Not bad looking though.

Dan I'm yanking the engine to find out why cylinder #2 is so much lower in compression compared to the rest. When I take that out I may decide on doing a K member and some other things. I really need a fan controller for one thing. I made the jump to yanking out the AC so that will shed a few pounds.
Right now I have to yank the drive shaft and transmission then its a matter of a couple wires before I unbolt the engine.
