"warrior" Edition Gt

And say production was 50/50 V6/V8....You have a 1 of 25 now. Still probably not a value adder but why does anyone mod a car (cosmetically)? If you're expecting to make money on it, you'll probably be disappointed but it does have a unique look over a stock Mustang and all the mods are factory installed (warranty). If you did lose any money on the deal, it's not much.

lets start with this is not my first rodeo. and I don't think anyone that is a Spc or below could afford a new car. And if your still in what ever your in, you know we tend to move so much buying a house is dumb, cause we move every three years or so. but with my E5 pay and jump pay I got this covered. And on that note. I know what deal I got im sorry if you poor and cant afford a new car. that you and your priority's all messed up. Or maybe your the " idiot". so you keep doing you and ill keep showing off my car. how is that?
If this isn't your first rodeo, then you know an e4 could absolutely afford the car as well. The difference between 4 and 5 pay is only about 200 depending on TIS and BAH is only about 100. Oh but that extra 150 for jump pay is really pushing you over the top.

Oh and you're right, saving money for a piece of the american dream if not now but for later is absolutely dumb.

Enjoy your uninspiring special edition Mustang. It's special, just like you.

Isn't this fox talk?

@Noobz347 can we get a p*ssing contest emoji also?

I think we need one.

This.... Meh, don't need this as much. :p

The fact that they only sell them to members of the military turns me off, right off the hop. There are plenty of "Warriors" right here (Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Paramedics, etc) in our own back yards that put themselves in harms way daily throughout their entire careers that are worthy of that title, but regularly don't get the recognition they deserve because they don't belong to designated branch of the Military.

How collectable it is has yet to be determined, but I don't suspect it's going to be sharing a pedestal with the likes of Shelby, Roush or Saleen any-time soon. There have been a, laundry list of so called "special" or "Limited Edition" cars built over the years that have never lived up to their owners dreams of collectability and I suspect this is going to be another one.

That being said....I've got me an ultra rare 25th Anniversary Mustang kicking around if anyone wants to give me top dollar for it?

Pretty much any "support our military, go USA!, etc products turn me off. The only thing those products support is someone's wallet and not the broke-azz E1 getting shot at. Could ya give me an example of a "collectible" that did not turn out? Was the "7up edition" vert one or was that just a nickname it received?

The 7-up Verts were a promotional campaign cooked up by 7-up and Ford at the time. Collectable....I guess to some degree because of their limited run....but worth anything more than your average Fox body? Not a chance. Same goes for the Special Edition models. Limited production, doesn't always = Maximum popularity, or dollar value

....not to mention the dozens of dealership "special edition" cars that you've probably never heard of that got little more than a couple of extra decals and a set of fancy wheels

Quite frankly, unless it's a universally sought after model, the collective worth of a Mustang is going to ultimately be whatever anyone is willing to pay for one.

Speaking of which....has anyone notice the used asking price of '03-'04 Cobra's lately? These owners have to be on crack?!? Just for giggles I skimmed through the classifieds other day and the AVERAGE asking price for one was over 30K

...wait, what?

I really like my two tone leather seats, Shaker 1000 stereo, wheels, and decals. I bought mine used, so I didn't pay any mark ups for it...and the previous owner did a little work to it:

Wow. People are giving termis away down here in the teens, I've seen them as low as 15k, but as high as 30 something with tons of work done

Unfortunately, the best description in this thread so far.

This... is a sleeper touring car on steroids. I know very little about these things other than they are a complete blast to drive on the street. I giggled like a little girl. lol

Some day..... Nice car. :nice:
