Has anyone tried one of these flow reduction valves I have way to much steering assist? I see them available for mustang II with GM pumps but nothing for 90-93 mustangs.

I haven't used one but the problem will be, when you really need a lot of steering fast, you'll run out of assist, and that's no fun. There's one thing you can do easily that will give you a very marginal improvement, and that's disconnect the high pressure line from the pump and take out the valve and spring behind the fitting. Cut a couple coils off the spring, and reinstall it. Very slight difference. If you want to make a real difference, you need to get an SN95 rack, preferably an '03'04 Cobra rack. They all have a better "feel" than any foxbody rack. The feel is determined by the combination of the torsion bar and the spool valve inside the rack, and the SN95 racks are way better in that regard. Of course then you have to swap it back to foxbody tie rods and install a hybrid steering shaft...
