THE BUCKET
Previous owner had car tuned, I think it was more to remove cel light than for performance.

Will this cause issues when I get the engine back? The car already had cobra intake, 73mm maf, 70mm tb, and 24# injectors it ran fine minus surging idle when cold. I do not know what the timing was set at.

I have added tfs 170s and stage 1 cam. Should I be worried, or just be prepared for some drivability issues until I get it tuned?

First thing that jumps out at me is that 73mm maf which must be a C&L id start by replacing that with a Pro-M or PMAS besides that all the rest of parts you listed should match up fine

C&l=junk.. That's why...

So far it has worked for me, until it doesnt I am sticking with it. Not sure if it makes a difference, but it is not the tube one that calibrates for injector size.

Anyway. I don't know why the car had a tune with the mods listed when I bought it, but the previous owner said it did. There is no CEL and smog was bypassed and capped, and car has off road h-pipe so something was done. I am ignorant when it comes to the computer on this car (along with many other things) so I didn't know if adding different heads and cam would make the computer go bananas as it was already tuned for e7s and stock cam (again maybe sounding retarded right now).

Have you looked at the computer to see if a chip exists? Never saw a c&l without the sample tube. C&l will work, I compare it to an adjustable wrench... It will work but a box wrench will give you better grip and less problems. Not saying it will not work, plenty of People use them. (Adjustable wrenches and c&l's)..I personally will use the "right" tool for the job if I can, that's it. Maybe the car isn't even tuned, people lie to sell things all the time. I would pop the computer out and look. It's under the passenger kick panel.

7991LXnSHO they can work and they can be a struggle i just feel PMAS or Pro-M are much better but i think the quote below about sums it up
