Here is the thing to me it feels slow. Don't know why with 373 gears I was thing 4:11 but my 1st gear would be pretty much useless. It's a week end only car, take it to shows but when I do want it to blast off, I want it to put me into the seat. Any suggestions thanks Guys

For the sake of argument, your giant list is still a stock engine with a mild cam, much like mine, only I have 4.10s and long tubes. I can assure you that they'd be close to dead even in a 1/4 mi race.

I had a friend run 12.80 with stock valve ported E7 heads and a Steeda #18 cam in the late 90s. If the port man cut the bowls right they run really well. If he screwed it up, then it's not going to run worth a :poo:. I am going to be the first to blame the :poo: Chinese intake. Get a used Explorer intake on ebay and see fi it improves. The gear is not your problem.

Thinks for the replys. Next summer I plan on running 195 heads with a Turbo, the intake gets a lot of crap! But it has never been a issue. I did find a injector that was cracked just about 15 min. Ago. I'm going to replace them and hope it helps. Then I guess run it buy my Dyno guy for some fine tubeing hopefully that will help. Thanks for the advise guys!

Once upon a time I almost pulled the trigger on those Thumper heads but I couldn't justify the hp per dollar.

Let us know what kind of numbers She puts down.

90lxwhite it will be next summer before I add the Turbo and ARF heads. Not sure of I'm going to do much more then a dyno. I know it sounds crazy, but even though it will have power it's more of a show car. The 83 notch backs are getting pretty rare and I'm kinda worried the first time I run it 1/4 mile it would be my luck I find the wall lol. My dad said all my life boy you got the Lewis luck, bad luck or none at all.
But once I get it tuned next summer ill post the number sheets I'm hoping ill get @ least 370 RWHP out of it. Fingers crosed.

Welcome to stangnet btw! Any pics of the car? From your avatar it looks sweet. If your car is running properly it should "set you back in the seat".

I hear ya that's cool. If ya happen to get on the dyno before heads etc it'd be cool to see some "before" numbers

Love the car! But man I'd have to drop that rear some:nice: Either cut 1/2 a coil or throw some springs in there. Very nice looking and don't see to many 4 eyed coupes anymore!! Gotta love the 4 eyes!!
