It does look like the front of the door is arched a bit much but It looks like the back of the door lines up pretty good with the quarter panel. It also looks like the door could stand to be adjusted in a bit more at the front hinges cause the top and bottom of the door is sticking out a bit from the looks of you photo. I would adjust the front hinges in a little which will shorten that gap a little, then leaving the fender bolted at the top and bottom shim the fender at the stud that comes thru and under the kick panel. this will arch the fender a little. You may also check the bottom fender bolt to see if it is shimmed and remove a few to give you a little more arch. Try this before you go thru all the headache of taking it back off and shipping it back to CJs.
It may be a little difficult to see my thin blue reference line but it shows the different archs from your fender to Horses. I think if you go back to my earlier post and try this you can correct most if not all of that. Should take you an hour or less to try.

Still going to try the shimming fix later but here's a shot of the trailing edge of the LH (drivers) fender shown on the left beside the RH (passenger side) fender shown on the right. Looks very close.
I may try a little gentle persuasion on the fender's inner structure to push it outward. I checked the arch on the Dynacorn door and the factory door and there is definitely more arch on the Dyna door.
Maybe a combination of the two.
Ok, so as luck has it I happen to have a top notch body guy on my street. Works for a very well known high end shop. So he's walking his dogs one days and see's the Pony out in the driveway and sees me with slumping shoulders. Stops in to have a look and says the fender can be reworked to match the arch on the door. The arch on the door is correct, it's actually the fender that has been reworked ever so slightly that it's really hard to notice.
I marked the fender today removed it and re-installed it about 10 times, each time dollying the inner structure of the fender outwards. Here's the result, looking much better now, gaps are improving but I'm not done with them yet. I'm re-inspired and must say that I think the Dynacorn door shell is fine.
That is looking a lot better ,if you can bring that point up a little more i think you will have it .
I figured it was the fender ,the two doors i used on my fast back conversion were just about flawless. The new fender gap was the problem i had

Thanks Horse. Yes, going to try and push that point out a little more. Excited to get this done. Thanks a lot for all the measuring you did. Really helped.
