I have amassed a box of extra AN, and hose ends over the last two years at summit. I just recently sent that box back to them and they are in process of refunding my money.

its not "unheard" of, as long as you pick a place like Summit to do business with.
 
So I'm just waiting on a new 120 degree fitting for the water line to the turbo. The act of re-clocking the turbo meant that I had to change the outlet fitting configuration so it didn't hit the turbo flange. It's about 1/32 from the flange now, but it does clear. It's also the outlet, so I'm not too worried about that fitting getting really hot. The fitting is all I need before I can start the car up again.

Funny story about that fitting. The turbo water lines are tapped off of my AN heater tubes that I made. I removed the one line so I could replace the fitting. Some coolant came out, but I wiped it up and just left the fitting on the heater tube open. The next day I was working on some stuff with the garage door open. The evening sun is quite intense as my garages faces west. I walked around to the front of the car and saw a huge puddle of coolant on the floor. I'm think WTF could be leaking. I saw drips on the back of the bellhousing, so I suspected the heater hoses where they meet the firewall. They were dry and tight. Then I look at the turbo feed fitting I left open and saw coolant dribbling out of it. Turns out that the intense heat from the sun glaring on the radiator created just enough pressure in the cooling system to start pushing coolant out of that open line. Lesson learned there!

I've been finishing up the doors and interior in the meantime. I put some sound deadening in there and got the door panel mounted on the driver side. I forgot that my armrest pad was shot, so I need to order a replacement from LRS. I just need to finish the panels, install the bezel around the gauges, and install the kick panels. Then the front section of the interior is done. The rear is a whole different story. That may wind up being a winter project. I haven't even touched the sound system or alarm yet either. I'm more concerned with just getting the car drivable so I can enjoy what's left of the nice weather this year. I don't need a finished interior or sound system to do that.

On another note, my garage is a mess. It must be cleaned soon or I'll lose my :poo:.

Your garage is a mess? That's a laugh. If having a messy garage causes me to lose my :poo:, I may as well just slip on a pair of depends right now.

That way I can just keep on working w/o worrying about "pesky interruptions".
 
I could use a toilet in my garage. Not sure how my neighbor's would feel about that when the garage door is open though.

I fired up the car again last night. Let it idle for a while to burn off all my greasy handprints that I got on everything from the changes I made. It doesn't want to idle under 2200 RPM right now. I know Kris didn't get a chance to finish messing with the idle tuning. It's a bit rich at idle also.

The final parts came back from the painter. I'll get the hood and fuel door on this weekend. Leaving the front bumper off for now until it comes back from tuning again. It's just easier to lean into the engine bay without a bumper.
 
What a well done build. Did you do all this in your garage? I've been restoring the interior on my '93 Cobra. It's a far less ambitious project, but it's still been kind of a beating my ass. Makes me feel like I've just been jack-assin around! Kudos!
