In Need Of Inner Tail Shaft Bearing Removal Tool

Ok well first off I'm new to the forum and I have a yellow 94Gt vert with black leather interior Dss 306 block, edelbrock heads, edelbrock upper and lower intake and a lame ass trick flow stage 1 cam, full exhaust, 1.7 roller rockers, 24lb injectors just tuned and made 290hp and 315 ftlbs off the bottle. I think the number was so low due to the cam. My springs are good for .600 lift and I lifted .499 due to the cam being so mild. It's high compression close to 11:1 so a bottle is really my only choice. On the bottle it made 395hp and 475ftlbs of torque. Anyway long story short I took the drive shaft out to replace the seal because it was leaking a tiny bit of trans fluid around the tail of the trans. Upon removal I notice that the little spring in the seal had broke off and got stuck inside the little bearing inside the tail-shaft of the trans. When it did this it crated like the face of the moon. So my drive shaft wouldn't go back in. It went in once and I turned the rear tires a couple times (lot of resistance) and when I removed the drive-shaft it had made a nasty little ring of damage where it was in contact with the bearing. There's a tool that you can use to remove the bearing with the trans in the car. I would love to borrow it if someone had it and I would of course pay for shipping( I live in Maine) both ways and tip the loaner. I just don't want to pull the trans. I know I could I just don't want to lol. The tool can be bought for $140 and if I have to I will buy it but wanted to see if anyone had it on hand? Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me. Also I've only found 1 universal tool and it doesn't state that it works for the t5 but I've seen and read other threads where the same tool worked on the t5. My t5 is also aftermarket from pro motion performance. Should be good to (450hp) wich I think is a crock but whatev is what it is. So hopefully someone has the tool ;) Actually read a thread on here where a guy had it and msg'd him but no response yet. Pictures of the car soon.

I'm sorry. There was one person who bought it, but they aren't posting up. I find that push needs replacing so infrequently that I have not purchased the tool. You can not just pound it out. It's a very soft metal, and a very thing bearing and it will distort when you tried to put the new one in even with the tail housing removed. I have the gear shop put a new bush in on the rare occasion I need one.

I've pounded them out multiple times. I usually do it with a socket, but I've taken them out with the air hammer on occasion without even scuffing the case. As for putting the new one in....well, you've just got to be ginger about it. A press is ideal, but a block of wood and a dead blow hammer with an uniform "tap...tap...tap" does wonders for keeping you from buggering up your new bearing.

Don't forget the green loctite.
