I'm shopping for a larger radiator for my '95 to cool things down some and I'm not sure who to go with but I'm not really wanting to go with a "universal fit". I've read the reviews for the china SR performance and their cousin SVE and they seem "fair enough". I also looked at mishimoto and I hear that they are prone to leaks. I'm also concerned about putting a fatter one in there, it's a pretty tight squeeze with the skinny stocker as is (that's what she said). What brand and model would y'all recommend?

I bought my mishimoto second hand, and it has been problem free for four years. For a budget, I have heard good things about the Champion radiators.

I like my Griffin. No issues thus far. Good warranty as well. Just measure your existing radiator or radiator support and go on the Summit Racing site. You can choose from sizes on there.

Are y'all using the mishimoto w the extra bracing? American. Muscle had the one w out the extra brace and the 1st few reviews read piece of crap
Whatever one AM sells is the one I have . Do you have pictures of the one with extra bracing ? I am curious as I didn't know there was a diff one

Just played this game myself. The Fox guys need to understand that there is no tidy way of getting a universal radiator in an SN. The radiator mounts are very model specific. We ended up dropping almost $700 on a Griffin 3". We'll let you know how it fits. It does not look like a comfortable squeeze.

Yikes, $700!? I'm not needing something that serious.. So how many "core" is the stock radiator for the 94/95? What sucks about the 94/95's is there aren't alot of parts and there isn't that many people that are dealing w em on the forums so there isn't a whole lot of advice which really sucks due to the fact that everything is mail order. It's hit or miss, maybe it'll work, maybe not. If not you have a car torn apart while you send the part back waiting for another hit or miss part.

The Mishimoto is a direct fit, but it has a terrible reputation for cracking. I personally don't have time for that sort of thing anymore. Just giving a fair warning that if you pick a generic aluminium Jegs radiator out, you are going to spending a good deal of time making brackets to mount it.

There is not much out there for 94-95s. We went for the monster 3" Griffin, but there is a 2" Griffin in the $400 range. Anything much cheaper than that would throw of my Chinese alert radar. The $400 range is where 2" radiators have been for the 94'-95' Mustangs for over a decade now. If someone is offering the same radiator for half the price it's probably too good to be true.
