As it's become colder I occasionally have an annoying little rattle coming from the lower horizontal trim piece that sits between the speedometer and tach; it's the slightly curved black panel above the steering column that goes back to touch the fuel/temp gauge lens. It took me a while to figure out where the noise was coming from since it's intermittent. I've tried searching but I really don't know what to call this thing. I haven't found much on gauge cluster removal or anything that might show me how to service this thing. I'm curious if it can be easily removed.

Cjponyparts on YouTube has an install video for the push button ignition that slows the removal of the trim around the gauges....should get you in the right direction for the rattle
