Motor has been sitting a long time. Today I went to drain the oil and only water was coming out, only dripping slowly though. So I removed the oil pan to inspect and the oil pan was full of oil with a little bit of water. The oil had a little bit of milky goo in it as well the oil pump screen was covered in it.

Is there a way to clean the bottom end while the pan is off? The Pacific Northwest has some of the highest freeze/thaw rates in the country and I think that's what happened. Everything in the heads and galley looks clean. Heads are still on and don't want to remove them unless it's as a last resort.

You can spray a couple of cans of non chlorine brake cleaner on the bottom end, I would then pour a a can of MMO and gallon of cheapo Walmart oil down each side of the motor from up top and in the distributor hole and hand crank it over until all the bottom end is covered in oil. You may want to also use a drill and a long 1/4 socket to spin the oil pump and get any water out.
