Alignment Needed When Changing Rear Arms Upper And Lower As Well........

You don't need an alignment. In fact you don't even need our advice. What is this thread about anyway? A recommended alignment that you don't want to get? Thread.\
calm down big guy................................
I am just saying I will probably keep an eye on things and see how the car feels after all is done. The work is going to get done and won't be at an alignment shop for that portion anyway. I appreciate anyone that takes the time to reply and voice their opinin. I don't take that lightly and blow it off. I'm just stating my side of how I feel about the situation after you guys told me what you think. It's a forum and all about opinions and advice :) :)

Par for the course. He has a network of gomer mechanics and he wastes forum contributors' time trying to see if they'll validate the advice he gets from the gomers.

somebody made a pucktup long time ago.......................................:)

To the OP, please don't take this the wrong way but every thread that I have seen you make goes like this.

  • This is what I want to do or needs to be done, this is what I was told. What do you think?
  • You then get advice on what to do
  • You then disregard the advice and do what you intended on before you asked the question
That is why I no longer offer you advice as I feel I am wasting my time.

so for 10 different suggestions I should divide divide them all up into the work and do a little bit of what each suggested?
In case you missed what I said, I said I appreciate folks who want to offer an opinion, advice or what have you. When I offer advice I dont get gray hairs if someone doesnt follow. If I dont wana share an opinion i won't nor will i get upset like i see a lot of panzies do on these boards.

Take it for what it's worth, no love loss

Info for every one. The front tires in an alignment use the rear tires as a reference when adjusting toe. The thrust of the car can be changed by replacing worn out and broken bushings. If the left lower control arm bushings were shot, that would allow the axle on that side to "slide" back a fraction of a degree. The total toe of the rear axle remains the same, but the toe direction changes. This in turn will have an effect on the front tires as in they now have to be turned a little different in order to track the rear correctly.
You work at Discount Tire?

10 different answers/10 different opinions: That's how it is with 9/10 questions asked on 9/10 forums. As far as anyone wasting anyone's time well, I'm thinking that's what we're all doing on forums anyway. Maybe no "wasting" time but definatly "killing time." If someone had more pressing issues to deal with they prob would t be browsing the mustang forums. There is the occasional "Help! Im broke down!" But by the time you sort through the 10 opinions you might be more lost as where to start before you made the post. If you have the $ get an alignment, what would it hurt? If you don't have the money and it's not pulling way far one direction ride around until you can afford the alignemt.
Use the logic:wallet ratio to make your decisions.
