I have a 99 mustang and the passenger side window has stopped working, and I figured if im gonna replace it i might as well get it to do what I want. My friend has a 11 mustang and i like that auto crack feature when you open the doors, and I was wondering if there was anyway I could get mine to do it. Could I modify the regulator and motor from a new mustang to fit my car or is it done by the computer/ecu?

That auto-crack feature that you saw, was it from a convertible?

Is yours also a convertible?

Using OEM parts to get your windows to do what you want them to do would not be a simple task. It would probably be easier and cheaper to find an aftermarket solution.

I would have thought that a 99 Vert would do this already but I confess that I've never checked.

They make tail lights that blink in patterns but no auto-drop feature for verts.

Crazy industry. lol

Maybe one of the [USERGROUP=72]@Premium Sponsor[/USERGROUP] have the ability to make something like that?
