First off sorry for the long story, but figured I would get all the details in...
So my buddy was out messing around in his super clean 91' Mustang GT yesterday, got it too sideways, went into a ditch and rolled the car on its roof.
The motor was still running for maybe a minute upside down until my buddy was able to get himself unpinned & out from the car, and then he turned the motor off.
The car sat upside down for maybe 30 minutes before we were able to get the car flipped back on 4 wheels, and then we noticed oil was pouring out from under the car. (no sure from where)
He then tried starting the car to see if he could get it out of the ditch, but the motor then wouldnt turn over or even try to start after that? (it would just click)
Soo he is now DONE with the car, and I am now gonna buy it off of him cheap, take all the goodies off of it for my Mustang, and part out the rest of the car.
So my (possibly stupid) question is what proper steps do I need to take on trying to get the motor started and back up & running? (if its not messed up)
I dont want to mess up the motor any more than it could already be. Im just afraid there is now oil in places where it shouldnt be? (cylinders)
Do I just fill it up with fresh oil, change the spark plugs and try starting it?
Any help is appreciated....
