SN95 Post Your Sn Wheels

With comments like yours and @bird_dog0347 (as well as others) it makes me think that when people say something is not unique and it's "played out" because they see it all the time it makes me wonder if they are saying that based on what they see on the internet instead of what they see in person. Even when I lived in San Diego I never saw clean Foxs driving around all the time. I know they're there but it was never so often that it made you want to sell your car or get upset about it. San Diego was more about rice, honda civics, del sols, integras and what not.

I think it's just what people see on the internet. I see some awesome cars online that I rarely see in person. Usually it's only when I go to car shows and such. Granted, here in New England, there is really onlt 3 good months of the year to drive, so Foxes i see in the winter months aren't "gently loved" cars.

I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a 4-banger fox in the wild. Seriously....a year or more.

I might see one fox 5.0 every 2-3 weeks here in the summer. None in the winter anymore. And like i said above, that fox i see is generally not in great shape or is a 100% stock car driven by an older person.

I haven't seen a fox with 5-lug wheels, Sn95 brakes, a nice cam or supercharger lowered on nice wheels out in the wild in a LOOOOOOONG time. Kinda explains a lot about why when i drive mine, i get a lot of attention with it and it's by no means a flashy car.

Too bad you cant buy them new again. I remember my old ford racing catalog with virtually every Sn95 wheel for sale.

I bought an OEM bullitt to replace one i curbed on my 2003, but sold the car before I replaced it. Still have it in the box but I think i paid $100 for it new.

The first pic is with stock 03 Cobra wheels and the second is with knock off Cobras 17x9F 17x10.5R I have a set of Bullits that look like ass. I will be polishing the lips and painting the centers black on those.

I think there is a risk with a 94/95 cobra in going with a wheel that is not originally some type of cobra wheel. You could possibly make the car look more like a GT.

Just think if the 93 cobra didn't have those distinctive cobra wheels on it.

Me personally i'd make my best effort to use some iteration of a cobra wheel.

I hear you man. In my area in RI my GT is one of the nicest and that is sad. A guy who lived in my neighborhood had a pretty nice white coupe with 5 lug and a gt40 top end, he sold it last summer and I think he only got 4500 for it. There is one lady who daily drives a white lx 5.0 all year round. She has to be around 50. The car is actually in ridiculously good shape and I have been tempted to ask her if she wants to sell it.

Same here. Seeing a Fox Mustang here is rare, and most often they are stockish. Seeing a Fox with full 5-lug conversion and 4 wheel disk brakes is like seeing a Bigfoot in the wild.

Anyway, these are what I'm running on my Fox. Couldn't tel you the last time I saw these on any Mustang in my parts.

Since I put them on mine years ago, I've seen more of them on Fox Bodies than I ever have. I remember going to an NMRA race in PA and two others w/the same rims parked right next to me :doh:

Well to be honest, your car was the one that inspired me to buy a set of those wheels. That pic of the closeup of rim and cross-drilled rotors was my background for years. Even bought the same locking lugs.

I haven't even seen an SN95 with those wheels lately, let alone a fox in my area.

@Ozz
Speaking of inspiration I'd like to thank you for the soniccherry site and the occasional posts you make about engine bay smoothing and wire tucking. I finished mine a couple months ago and your info and pictures were a great help.
