Input for converting from power steering to manual: the intermediate shaft is different. The manual input is longer as illustrated in his picture. So you will either have to find/buy a manual steering intermediate shaft or cut your existing power steering shaft and install a U-joint (which is what I did). I don't remember off the top of my head which U joint I got from Speedway Motors, but IIRC, one end was a 3/4" round hole. I cut my shaft to length, turned the end down and welded the u-joint to the shaft. Here is an older pic of how it fit in my car with headers....
its a roller at the moment... the engine in this pic is a fresh 0 mile 2.3 turbo motor..i haven't swapped the pan and pickup yet. still cleaning them for paint.. will also relocate the dipstick when I swap the pans.....install is on hold until the new brake line kit comes in... backorder for 10 days ,, or so im told....engine and trans will both go in once the lines are ran... the blue is the same color the exterior stripes will be.
