89 Foxbody Lx

Hi guys, I was looking to buy a 89 lx. The owner is not sure if the engine is bored out or not. Is there a way for me to check without taking the engine apart?

only way to know is to pull one head and measure the bore or pull a piston and it will normally be stamped with the bore size on it.

What makes you think it was bored? If there are no build sheets or receipts, assume no.
