Less mockery, more truth in my case.
You stopped being a Wyle E Coyote when you got rid of all of the "Acme" projects that were in your garage.

You gotta admit, you are having way more fun w/ the car that you currently have, that you've resurrected by yourself. Instead of the wannbe 10 OH shells that sat idle in the garage, waiting on the day you got more time to cut, grind, weld, sand, scrape and grunt on.

Now you're more like this:

I managed to peel off a little of the wedding money. Shhh... View attachment 272215

For the car:
I ordered $270 worth of brake parts from LMR to finish the brakes out and replace the bad booster with a '93 Cobra unit.

For the 351:
The EFI Carb style Victor Jr. came in the mail finally. Needs to be cleaned up, but for $200, not a bad deal. Working on a deal for some swap headers I ran across last night by chance for $150. Waiting on a pic to see how bad, as they were described as "Ugly." Not pretty we can do, beat up is a no go.

This weekend will be the first road trip for the car as well. Going to Dallas, shouldn't be an issue.

First road trip went off without a hitch this weekend. Made it 560+ miles round trip. Going up Friday, the weather was AWFUL and averaged 23 mpg, but more importantly, we made it there despite not being able to see the lane for a good part of the trip.

Coming home, we had a great tail wind as a front blew in and averaged 27 mpg @ 80 mph, which is impressive in my book. Came very close to making it home on 1 tank!

We did drive through Waco and stopped in at LRS for a quick pic. Also got a pic of my co-pilot actively piloting us along...
