I have a 2001 mustang gt stock exhaust system with flow master super 44s love it so loud but i want louder but idk which set of mufflers to get the slp loudmouths 1 or the flow master super 10s I just want that beautiful earthy just badass sound and then when you press on the gas the neighborhood next to me can hear it and suggestions?

Put an offroad pipe on with those flowmasters and you'll have a ton more sound. So much that after a year or so you'll change the catback out because you can't think from the mind numbing drone the car will emit. Your neighbors will hate you, small children and animals will be frightened. It will sound glorious flooring it down the interstate.

I had an off road x with flowmasters for many years. Sounded mean as all get out but eventually I got tired of being drowned in the constant roar of flowmasters and tried to quiet my exhaust down. I have not yet succeeded in doing so. I actually loved the sound of the offroad x pipe with stock catback. You could tell it was louder than exhaust but it didn't rattle your brain the whole time.

I'm running an SLP LM1 catback system with the factory H-pipe on mine and it sounds awesome. I bought the car with a Flowmaster catback already equipped & after making the switch the car not only was louder (esp at full throttle) but it doesn't drone at all like the Flowmasters did.

I side with mattstang04. Get an off-road h-pipe. O/R h-pipe + flowmasters sound awesome in my opinion.

I had an o/r h pipe with my longtubes and the American Thunder set of flows (40 series). I ended up swapping the cat back because a broken baffle, and went with magnapacks. Hind sight being 20/20, I should have got a new flowmaster catback. The packs sound good with a catted x, but quieter than the o/r h and flows. Packs sound like garbage with an o/r h. Packs with an o/r x sound ok, but have nothing on flows.

Drone is in the ear of the beholder, it never bothered me... I actually enjoyed it. The only time it got a lil annoying was when I was driving across the country.

Don't I repeat don't go straight pipes. I still kept my cats, but I lost power. I could not get no speed out of it after I had the mufflers taken out. Sounded mean but I pretty much lost every race I got into and I have a V8, I wish I didn't have to trade one for the other

Get electric cut out side pipes. Best of both worlds. Open it up at that stop light and scare small children. Then flip the switch and back to normal like nothing ever happened. :)
