Hey everyone, I am new to the mustang world and community, and now that i have my first gt, I guess its time to learn and make it the best it can be.

I think the best thing I like about mine is that its a vert.

Welcome!

Head over to 94-95 Tech and we'll help out as much as we can.

What type of noise it the rear making and when?

Speedo, pull the VSS (speed sensor) out of the tranny.
check to make sure the plastic drive/driven gears are not damaged.
using a mulimeter, check the VSS for proper operation.
(Google how to check mustang vss)
Check out the vss wiring for damage, ensure all connections are clean and tight.

It may end up a bad speedometer gauge, in which case you can replace the entire instrument cluster, or disassemble your cluster and replace the speedo/rpm gauge with a used piece.
Your odometer will transfer over to the new gauge.

Thanks, I will make a post over there and see what we can figure out (it's making a howling/whine in lower/upper 2nd and up.. As far as the speedo - The kid I got it from said it was the clip behind the cluster. I looked online for some replacement parts but I don't know what clip I need.
