This Wheel Hop Is Ridiculous

Took the car to the track today to get some data logs at WOT for tuning purposes. Wasn't even leaving hard and it stills knocks the tires off and shakes the crap out of the car. Wasn't even using the launch control and was barely leaving off of idle....

While I never used them in my 2004 SVT Cobra (IRS rear), I know some of the Cobra guys tried using cheap do-it-yourself airbags in the rear to help alleviate the wheel hop:

According to @84Ttop he has not experienced any wheel hop.

What tires do you have?

What rims?

What engine?

What transmission?

What was the weather like?

I had heard that wheel hop was present on the S550, but @84Ttop has insisted that it hasn't been an issue.

I haven't had a lick of trouble with wheel hop, I have heard a few others complain of it though. I'm not sure if it has to do with my car being an auto, the extra HP from the blower or if its all unrelated?

The problem with a lot of these "fixes" is that they are simply band-aids. The real problem is the soft rubber bushings throughout the subframe and differential. They just allow too much deflection for a structure that should be solid and that just isn't how the suspension should work. Sure, it's great for a ride comfort and road noise reduction, but you can't get consistency when you have movement from a what should be a solid structure.

What's probably going to happen is I'll wind up dropping the entire subframe and replacing all the bushings with the aluminum ones from Ford Racing and just killing all that movement. Otherwise, I'm just adding bracing to a structure that wants to move and simply transferring force to other parts of the car that should be getting absorbed by the suspension. I'm okay with a quick, easy fix at the track, but ultimately I want it to perform correctly.
