nice!...cant wait to get my car out!....few more days!

those long tubes are there for moch up right?....youre planning on taking them off when engine goes in?
No they are going in just like that . I have the shortys that hang to the same length as a long tube with the two extensions on it for the x pipe and never had an issue getting it in and out with them all together .

I didn't have the sack to install my engine+T5 along with my LT's. I just dropped the motor & trans in and installed the LT's while the engine hovered in the bay and then bolted up the motor mounts. It's the passenger side that needs the wiggle room which requires the engine mounts to be unbolted to scoot the motor over to the drivers side to install them.

Looks good bro! Once again you guys are running circles around my build. A 6 y/o + twin 20 mo old girls keep this Dad busy! Keep up the good work!

My son and I helped a friend of mine drop his engine into his 85 with a T5 and longtubes bolted to it less than a year ago. There's a trick to it though and it takes at least two people.. but we had it from off the concrete and bolted in in 10 minutes.

Jack up the rear of the car leaving the front on the ground. One guy under the car with a jack to catch the tail and jack it up with one pushing the engine hoist forward. Three ppl makes it even easier.

Update . Clutch disc , bell housing , and yoke for driveshaft are on the way. I can do all that and lay the motor in and get it all setup and I should be able to order the TKO in the coming weeks

Are you just going with a "stock" tko? Or getting an upgraded version from liberty, hanlon, etc? Also what clutch are you going with?
Stock 600 and using a Centerforce dual friction for now . (That's the clutch in the car I just got the 26 spline disc ) The gravy train is slowly running low here lol
