Sadly enough, I am looking for about half that on the street. It's a wicked car and I look forward to a long article from one of the magazines. Keep it going, it invokes momentum for the rest of us.

I played musical garages this past weekend, @tannerc91gt style. Typically I build things at my house but the addition of the 2015 Mustang has me out of space for that. We had an old warehouse that's in the family that i've been using the last few months as the Speed Shop has been swamped with cars lately but that finally rented, much to my dismay. I had to call papa dukes up and go back to my roots for the next week or so while I'm finishing the fab work. Nothing like your dad bailing you out with a sweet garage space. I originally built that chassis in his garage and have the car back there once again, heck I even got to take the Corvette out for a little spin while the weather was nice. It was a win win type weekend

i looked at a C5 when i blew the motor in my lightning. biggest issue was my head was on the roof of the car. i really needed to sit in an FRC or a Z06. maybe one day i'll buy a C6Z

Big money over here @srtthis !!!:stick:
I like driving my old mans 06' convertible vette but it still won't beat the Mustang:cool: I will say that it is rather comfortable to drive though

haha this was back in the day when i lived at home and i was single...

married home owner now with 3 dogs 2 cats and a horse not in the budget these days

A little more done in the garage last night, I keep telling myself that it's only a few hours of work to finish this thing and after a few hours I always seem to have a few hours of work left to do...
New Valve covers with 16AN vents are done, @TOOLOW91 I'll be sending you my old ones next week. Fuel rails are done and mounted and fit surprisingly well considering how big they are.
Left to do:
Mount fuel pump permanently, Finish plumbing fuel system (parts ordered this AM), Finish welding discharge tubing, Install Spark Plugs, Mount new catch cans, Cut gigantic hole in hood, Fill Fluids and Load new tune up in the XFI
Sounds simple right? This is at least another 8-10 hours worth of work... I should have it all wrapped up next week if all goes well

This is the profile of the tubing sticking over the hood... Should I leave the aluminum tube sticking out as is or paint it black to try and blend in with the black carbon fiber stripe on the hood? I have even thought about hydrodipping the tube in carbon fiber?
