Guys I recently decided to do an engine rebuild because my motor died on me. The only problem is I have no experience with something so difficult. I was wondering if you guys can tell me what parts and brands I should use if I want to rebuild my 4.6. Additionally, Im aiming for a 1000hp motor but I'll run it around 600hp just to be safe and not blow it. By the way it's a 2000 Mustang Gt. Thanks

I c you only have 1 message so i dunno if your a " Troll ".. but if your a legit person if you still need some help you are welcome to shoot me a PM ( Private Message ) on here and lemme know exactly whatcha r trying to do n go from there. Until then Cheers bud :)

For a 1000 hp engine you're gonna need a lot more than actual engine work. You're gonna need trans work, fuel system work and modification, exhaust modifications, suspension work, some serious tuning, etc. Even for 600 hp you'll need some of that stuff. My advice to you is for now, get yourself a used engine to get your car back on the road. Then, start with bolt-ons and little stuff. As you learn more, then you wanna go into forced induction. And once you get that far, that is when you should start looking at built engines. At this point tho, I'd say you're getting a little too far ahead of yourself.

Blue Moon!! man, what a tasty treat! I like mine in Black and Blue form with some Guiness!!

Yea maybe the kid is a troll, I don't know. I figured I would answer his question as short as possible just in case some other viewer years from now sincerely wants to know how to go about with a build like this. 1000 hp is serious. It would take me a very long time to outline the basics you would need for that much power. And that is just basics. Even on a platform with much more potential, like a 2013 GT 500, you'd need a lot of modifications for those numbers. Anyway, thanks for the compliments. I always try to help out when I can. Enjoy your vacation my friend!!
