Finally got my shp block 347 rotating assembly finished, what oil pan fits best as there are no provisions in block for dipstick tube? Didn't realize until buttoning up bottom end? Also do I need a oil filter adapter? Just a threaded hole there?

Is this all I need for the filter?

You need to run the 7 for the bigger pan and pickup . I put a canton. On mine as I had the same issue and didn't realize till the motor got here .

It would be nice if they update the description and state that a pan with dipstick is needed for the block, I got it all in so its fine now, problem now is head related, trickflow 170's, ordered years ago with supposed 10 degree locks, lost 2 on reassembly and ordered the said replacements, they came in and I realized at that point my heads actually have 7 degree locks in them, kinda pissed, still have the order history from summit and they are indeed supposed to be 10 degree locks.

Try calling PAC ill bet they have the locks you need for the head.

I went ahead and ordered the tfs upgrade spring package with the dual springs, and 10 degree locks and retainers, stayed up for a while last night getting them shimmed to the correct 1.780 install height. Went pretty quick and easy overall.
