Stripes Removed & Tinted

Truth be told... I kind of miss the stripes a little. Im going to ask around about possibly getting some black ones painted on. The white is too in your face and doesnt match anything else on the car (even though it did grow on me)... but black stripes with the black rims and tinted windows would look pretty sick (i think). If it's a few hundred bucks, it would be worth it, but I already called one place and they wanted a grand... that is way too much.

Have you ever thought about making your own using plast dip? That way, If you don't like it or you end up getting tired of it, you can always peel them off.

Nah. If I do it, it will be permanent. I pulled the vinyl stripes so the paint would fade evenly and so I didn't have to worry about them becoming cracked and baked on to the car.

Can I cast my vote for carbon fiber stripes? I also agree that the white stripes were too in your face, a darker color with the blue would be sweet!

I love stripes, but that blue car looks better without them, for sure. Some matte black stripes would probably look great though.

Just mask and do the plastidip thing then stand back and see if you like the combo. If so, go for paint, if on the fence, wait a few days until you decide.
