I have an 89 Mustang GT with beige cloth interior, how close does your product match the factory beige interior?

I'm sure they'll write back to you, but before I bought my upholstery I reached out to TMI and had them send me samples. I went with leather over cloth (my car came factory with the sport/GT tweed seats). I planned to do leather from the start but got samples of the leather, cloth, and vinyl and was able to compare it myself against my own car. If the cloth was a perfect match I may have gone cloth to keep it "original", but in my opinion it looked too different next to my original seats, probably because they were 20+ years old and pretty beat.

For what it's worth, I'm very satisfied with the fit/appearance/feel of the leather from TMI. It's a very nice product at a fair price.

Hey there - the cloth that Ford originally used for the Foxes (&SN's) is not longer being produced in the aftermarket - which means we have to 'make do' with what is actually offerred. That said, the color of our cloth materials was our vocal point, and the colors match well. However, the pattern of the original cloth materials is simply not available, so you'll notice that was were we had to compromise. Give customer service a ring at 800-624-7960 and they'll be able to drop any sample you need in the mail that day!

Not a fox but i re-did the seats in my 95 cobra with the TMI kit. I went with the vinyl instead of the leather and this vinyl is nicer than the factory leather. I never put the head rests back in, i was nervous about cutting the slot for them so i'll probably leave them out. I'm not sure why the drivers seat is bunched up on the side, i have the seat cover pulled down all the way.

I was going to keep this quiet until the covers arrived but..... I have worked with Waylon in multiple phone calls and samples and have finally ordered my custom covers. They are the 87-89 taller seats with knee bolsters. they are the Mach 1 style with the red stripe but instead of the black comfortweave I went with the silver carbon fiber. They should be here soon. I ordered them 4 weeks ago. I can't wait to see them.
Here is a rendition of what they should somewhat look like.

These arrived about a month ago. For anyone considering TMI I would highly recommend getting swatches of the colors you want. I did for all the colors except the red. The red is actually a salmon orange almost a pink ( it's even more pinkish than the image shows) which I guess is correct for a 70 Mach 1.
They offered to change the stripe to a red but they don't offer an actual red in a Mach 1 style insert. So it would have been just a non formed vinyl. I bought an air brush to apply a red vinyl dye. It worked very well. they said if dying did not turn out to my satisfaction they would take care of me.
These are going to look great in my car!
Thanks TMI and National Parts Depot
