Ok.
1. Verts are not girl cars.
2. Thanks everyone , I can now comfortibly mod my car. Hmmm.... Where to start
I always start my build with sensible
suspension mods and basic high $/hp bolt ons, especially if money is tight (having 3 projects at any given time is the norm for me.)
On a Fox, I think those would be springs, subframe connectors, upgraded OEM brakes with stainless steel lines for the
suspension, followed by headers, catback, intake, and a sensible cam on the motor side. That way, you end up with a car that goes noticeably faster than stock, handles nicer, and stops better than a stock Fox has any right to.
Best part of it is you're only a couple of grand invested in it, parts wise, at that point.
Anything after those, in my opinion, is where you start to see diminishing returns. The only exception being a 5.0 Explorer swap, motor wise. A few hundred dollars for a ~50hp gain is always a beautiful thing.
