Been about 5 years since a bought a Mustang, but found a deal on a great 02 GT that I couldn't pass on ($3500). Always a catch it has 163000 miles. Wondering if I want to rebuild what is my best option to not go broke and to maybe get a supercharger. Its my sixth mustang, but I'm not sure I have ever been happier to own one.

I'd say do some basic maintenance on it and then just enjoy it for a while. Then go with a used S-Trim. You can get them for less than $1500 if you know where to look.

163000? That's it? Pssshh... ;)

Don't be afraid of the mileage. If it was decently maintained, I'm sure it'll last much, much longer. I'm at 167K on my '03 GT and the only "major" things I've needed are a new intake (original one cracked), a new water pump, and a clutch. It still runs like it did on day one.
