After seeing what these cars are making with just a tune, I've definitely decided to go ahead and purchase the SCT x4 tuner. Ive never been one to trust a mail order tune, saying one tune is optimal for every car. So, I'll have this thing on the dyno and we'll mess around with it at my local tuner. I'll post before and after numbers for you those that are interested. My appointment is on Monday and I'll have the results posted that day. Very excited

Well, had a small issue with getting the appointment for today. The tuner could'nt get ahold of SCT to release their licensing so they could actually tune the car themselves. I'll be bringing the car back in a few days and it should pick up a couple more hp. But Wow! I've seen some high dyno's on these things but mine seems pretty strong stock. 387whp 356wtq without anything done to it. They just had used one of SCT's out of the box tunes for 91 octane and it picked up almost 20whp across the board. Again, my car is completely stock aside from just their out of the box tune. I'll keep you posted with the new results when they strap it down later this week. The throttle response feels much better as well

SCT is really screwing the pooch in my opinion, our SCT license extends from 86-2014 mustang all under one blanket license. The 2015 license was a separate expense and honestly I was very surprised that they did so, never before have they done this when a new platform was released. While the software really does work well, their customer relations have lacked in my eyes for sure

Wow, didnt realize that. Ive been out of the game for a while. The last time I dealt with SCT was on my fox about 8 years ago and they were great! Regardless, I have their programmer and ill be getting my custom tune tomorrow. I'll post the results here again, but its supposed to be hot and muggy tomorrow. Also im getting it done during the hottest time of the day, so it wont show too much of an increase.
