Hello good folks. I have an issue that I have been noticing with my 2 week old GT PP. Whenever I shift from 1-2, I hear scraping. Not DURING the actual shift, mind you, so not grinding gears, but while I'm depressing the clutch. It only happens from 1-2, and every shift after that is smooth as butter. Usually shifting around 3-3500 RPM, if not lower, depending on the situation.

It's barely notcieable, but I can feel it through my foot, and it sounds like a rubbing/very light scraping noise.

Is this just the clutch needing to be broken in, or should I be contacting the dealer? I have heard of noise from other posts when actually performing the shift, but I haven't seen anything regarding noise coming just from pressing the clutch yet.

Thanks!

Is it almost like a gear grind, but to a lesser degree? Almost like when you switch your phone to vibrate? I get something that is detectable to me, but I feel like if I brought it in, they would tell me they didn't feel or hear anything. It lasts about as long as if you said 'crack' and it gives a little feedback through the pedal. It is also intermittent.

I figured I was just going to wait until it tells me I need an oil change and have the dealer take a look at it. Also, it sounds like it has a header leak, too. I was going to have them take care of that as well.
