Hey All,
Please tell me if I'm reading this info correctly:
Given that the curve is specified at "distributor" RPM and "camshaft degrees" all the numbers are actual supposed to be "double" what is listed, when standardly testing with a timing light on the crankshaft, due to the crankshaft turning twice for each turn of the cam and distributor? I am assuming that all timing on most engines is done by crankshaft rotation reference? IE: 7 degrees maximum vacuum advance at 20 inches vacuum is actually 14 degrees and maximum centrifugal advance is 22 degrees at 4000 engine RPM?
Thanks Folks,
Gene
