Issue With Dealer/service Dept In Hou

Please help! I left my car with a dealership's service dept in Houston for service and when I came back to pick up the vehicle there were several issues...the battery was dead and there was 3 inches of water in the car! now they are telling me the piece under the carpet is ruined and needs replacing as well as some other work...

I'd had the car out in the rain before dropping it off to have the cabin air filter replaced and there was no issue.

Frankly, I get the sense they are just pushing to get more work for themselves and are covering over work they may have done incorrectly/not finished before leaving the car in the rain.

Please help!

I’m happy to get this documented and possible escalated for you. Please, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, best daytime number, and what has transpired since.

Yikes, I would first speak with the Service manager. If not satisfactorily taken care of, I would ask to speak to a regional director, and perhaps @FordCustSrvc can help you out
