Aod To T5 Issue

Maybe this issue has been covered before, if it has I could not find it.

Swap went well, I don't have the t5 harnesses. No nss hooked up obviously I have to clutch in to start the car. The issue is when I let the clutch out the car idles up, 300rpm and hangs there. This happens at idle, I can hold the clutch in and the rpm drops down but as soon as I let the clutch out it jumps back up.

Is there an easy fix?

Try adjusting the clutch cable, before taking anything apart. If you letting the clutch pedal off, it probably has something to do inbetween the cable--->flywheel. I can't say for sure.

Nope. I can disconnect the iac and this won't happen.

I had the same issue until I disconnected both clutch switches.

You have to put the clutch safety switch jumper plug back in place just like it was when it was an AOD car....

When I first did the swap I had the same issue . With both clutch switches connected every time I released the clutch the RPM's would rise. The reason is the A9P computer raises the RPM 300 anytime the auto trans is put into gear, By using the clutch switches, the A9P computer raises the RPM , because it thinks you just put the car in gear, every time the clutch is let out..

Ecu change too. A9l...
I'm stumped.. maybe it has something to do with the nss, not sure. Maybe I will try bypassing the nss circuit and see what happens.
