So i been looking around on how i can fix this which just happend randomly one day wile driving , the next day it was working normal but later that day again !! The lock keeps clicking back and forht locking and unlocking . Well now it just moves like it locking but it doesn't it just shakes sometimes. I change the acutators on the locks both side since ofcourse its old being 20 years old now . But no the shaking of the lock stoped but still does not resond to the press of the butten . But i know it works because sometimes wile pressing the lock down to lock it unlocks on its own. Anyone have any idea what i need to replace or fix ??

Does the car have a security system in it? I just recently bought a vehicle that has a viper car alarm in it. The previous owner cut the alarm horn so that it wouldn't go off every time the battery was hooked up after being unhooked. Due to this the car thinks it is being stolen anytime a battery is hooked up to it and the locks will cycle between locked and unlocked. I'm not saying that's the cause (faulty alarm) but I'm just giving an example of something similar that I've encountered. Hope you are able to get to the bottom of it.
