Sad Day, Put It In Storage For Winter!

It's going to be in the 50's here in North Dakota this weekend, so I'm not putting mine away just yet. When the snow finally stats flying it will get a tranny rebuild, maybe some suspension work and what ever else I happen to find to tinker with. A heated shop is great for winter projects in NoDak :)

Nice Bob. I will prob book a battery tender to it and leave it. Like my bike that I would store. Or unhook the battery altogether. Haven't decided. Do you guys put down some barrier like a plastic sheet or something to separate from cement floor?

Yours looks good too i like that hood. I dont have electricity where i store it and i dont put down plasic or anything but its a good idea. I might do rubber floor mats under the tires. I do put natural mice repellant in the garage as well as in the trunk, interior and engine bay. It smells like evergreen and it comes in what looks like a giant tea bag.

I don't put down plastic...but it wouldn't hurt. I would go out and start mine once a month and let it get up to temperature. My car has basically been a garage queen for the past couple years unfortunately.

Bleh...our first snow storm. Expecting 6-10". Now I can't go chase women tonight. Well I could...what the hell...I am. This is what happens when you break up with the girlfriend. We start "braving the elements" just for some "company".

I always put heavy plastic down on the concrete to cut down on moisture coming through.

I also usually throw several of flow through boxes of baking soda inside the car to act as a desiccant and either some bounce sheets or mothballs under the hood to keep mice away.
