Fox 18 Years Ago Today.

I don't think I will ever get rid of mine. It will be 5 years this June. I looked for over a year before buying this car after spending a decade playing around with Chevys. This is the 3rd fox body I've owned and probably the last.

I've only had mine four years, but I'll never sell it. I've owned a bunch of foxes, but this one is the best I've had by far. My son now has a fox, and I plan on adding to my collection soon, but I dont think I'll ever sell my lx hatch. My wife thinks I'm nuts.. "How many mustangs do you need?" she says.. LOL.

Congrats Grover, that's really cool. I wish very much I hadn't sold my '89 GT when I graduated high school in 2002, as the buddy I sold it to totaled it three weeks later. At the ripe old age of 31, I now see the value of having "that" car. I get very tempted to get back into a fox, but I think my 2011 is going to be "that" car for me now. It was only a year old when I was able to buy it, I sacrificed a few toys to obtain it, and road tripped with my wife and first born to get it.

This Labor day, I'll have owned my LX for 22 years.

I don't have any pictures of it when I bought it, but here it is in 1999, looks like just like it did in 1994

18 years for me now that I've owned my Fox.

Finally bought a house with a 2-car garage. Haven't moved the fox in yet, but cant wait for this spring/summer when I can start tinkering with it again.

Last 2-3 years it's been stored while I got engaged, had some kids, sold my condo, etc. Now it's time to party!

Before and after, purchased new in 1989. As mentioned in prior posts I too have finally wiggled somewhat free of suffocating expenses ( Kids , house ) and have finally started collecting some go fast stuff.
