Capri Parts On A 91 Fox Body?

  • Sponsors (?)

By the way I really like the Capri Fenders so I'm not sure if I want to get those fenders and make some brackets to hold them up better or what...Which fenders do you guys like better the Capri or Fox body fenders?

I agree with what was mentioned earlier. Only installing the Capri front fenders wouldn't cut it. You'd need to modify the 91' rear quarters to match the flared wheel wells that the Capri has both front and back to make it flow correctly. It's all or nothing. I think you just need to find 91'-93' fenders and be done with it.

Hey if you can get it to look like those 2 pics posted above...then heck yeah. Go for it!! Those examples look killer IMO. If you don't have the metal work/paint skills...it's going to be expensive though. I'd guess around 10k for a basic color and a lot of body work.

My brother works at some car restoration shop so I asked him how long it would take for me to do it and what the prices I was looking for...He said he'll get back to me on it so I'll keep you guys updated :D

Is your brother a professional body man? My Father was one for 35 years and he never used the word "try" with his customers. Be careful because if the work on the quarters isn't done well then the cars value could become near worthless.

Best of luck either way.

Well as my dad says the car is a :poo: bucket and he should have never bought it for me and I don't plan on selling the car unless I am forced to. And I said Try he said once it's off the road take it to the shop and we'll have it done. I said try because anything to do with shops drains my piggy bank XD. And thank you for your concern :D Tbh It's my first car and I want to have some fun with it so the sell back price doesnt really matter to me.

true XD
It's a 2.3 turbo apparently came out from a 88 Capri RS turbo...The guy who owned this car and swapped it before...well omg no words for that. Pretty much every plastic clip on the car is broken and such weird things are done to it...Like I can't even describe it ._.
And yeah that was my plan but I still need the car to go to college when I enroll so I can't screw it up too much XD

lol yeah but Capris are hard to find and don't usually come 4cyl and are usually more expensive...My dad has restrictions on me ;~;

i thought you had access to a capri since you were asking about the front fenders swapping over. as for them not being a four cylinder, some were but that doesnt matter. if you stang is a four cylinder, you can swap everything over including the cross member, and make it a four cylinder car.

True and no the Capri is about to be put in the junk yard. So I'm just going to see what I can salvage for cheap. While most people sell 1 door for 100 bucks I could get both for that price at the junk yard and fenders are only like 20 dollars too (On most holidays)
