That rust in the strut towers calls for the motor to be pulled to fix. They do sell a strut tower repair kit pretty cheap but it has to be welded in. That rust is a mustang killer. Not too hard of a fix if you get on it soon.

I was poking around the car today and found this.

I have not found much online about it. But what I have found there not worth the time to install it. Should I removed it?? Or leave it in till I am ready to do a chip??

If it runs fine now I'd leave it. But agree that they are pretty much worthless and a dyno tuned chip is the way to go.

Before the snow came, I checked out my car fast for safety. From what I can tell it needs a wiper motor. Everything else look good safety wise. I am going to change the breaks. Pads, rotor, wheels bearing and seals. Shoes, drums, comby kit, and adjusters. That way breaks are 100%. I am also putting new tires all around, stock size BFG's Radial T/A I like the white letters. Its going to get a full tune up and filters and oil changed. After that, I am lost. I have built a fox in my head lots of times. Now that I have one close to stock, I have no idea what to do first. I know I want a fun street car, something to go to shows, road trips, maybe try the drag strip here and there to see what the car can do. I am not one that likes flashy. I like the person to have to look to see any major mods I have done. Try to stay stock-ish looking. Not a sleeper. There is two car shows that happen in a town not far from me. I would like to go to them.

Any ideas would help. Clean up out side. Seals and what not?? Maybe start making it feel new again. Bushing and suspension?? Or should I do the interior first?? I am building a motor right now nothing special 306 mild build. When its done I am going to fix the fame rails and put in a rebuild T5 to go with it. I have one just need rebuild kit now.

Sorry for the reading. lol

As far as brakes goes, maximum Motorsports has a nice upgrade kit for the stock setup. I highly recommend it. I would throw some decent rear control arms with new bushings. After all the necessary maintenance I would concentrate on the interior. LMR will take care of all those needs and you get a 6% Stangnet discount.

Get rid of the stock alternator and put a 94-95 3g version with the proper 4 ga wiring. Look for the foglight repair schematic and get them on a relay and not pulling the power through the switch if it hasnt been done already.

Id also add a Maximum motorsports Clutch cable kit with the fire wall adjuster and quadrant.

Some sort of shifter- MGW,Pro 5.0 , hurst to make the shift much crisper. Head light kit with seals if they are dry rotted to clean up the front end. Just some suggestions. Awesome car best of luck with it

Now that winter is coming to a end, its time to play with my car. The snow has melted a lot here. But I am going to help it this weekend and dig out my baby.

Very nice buy, thats the right one too, the one from the NFS PS4 game that i play. $2500 ! What a deal ! I just paid over 6K for mines, and its not even black. But i don't seem to have some of the rust issues i'm seeing here. Still thats an awesome deal, and a nice Foxbody. Congrats !

Now that she is out of the snow. I am starting with the tune up. Cap, Rotor, Wires and plugs. Nothing special just new parts. That way she will idle and start better. Pics and videos to come.
