So I'm going to get rid of the ten holes on my gt and pick up some new wheels this weekend. I've found two sellers that I'm interested in. One has chrome pony R's with a 9 inch wheels and 275's in the back with 6.5's with 215's up front... The other guy has 4 lug chrome 95 saleen wheels with 275 in the back and 245 up front... Its such a hard choice! I want the saleens because they're different and I've never seen four lugs before but on the other hand the pony's give it the classic look of a fox body...

I like both of those wheels. The saleens came out right after I bought my wheels or that's what I would have on my car. It all depends on if you want to swap to 5 lug or not.

Don't think so? I got him to go to 800. I feel like the 4 lug makes them look different.. It gives it shorter spokes. These are the ponys. The fronts are a 6.5 rim

sorry- 800 for saleen replicas and no name tires is not a bargain IMO. They look more like cobra rims than Saleens to me. I'd offer him $400-500 at most- they are used tires and rims not new.

If the tires are in decent shape I would go 650-700 tops. You can get most of these wheels out of the box with brand new tires for a grand or less. I hate paying more than 50-60% retail on used wheels.

Do you think 800 for the pony's is a good deal? He showed me pictures of the front left and it has some pitting on the chrome so they aren't perfect...
have you priced them new? I think you can get a set of NEW pony rims with tires and a warranty from AM for around $900-$1000 before any stangnet discount. General rule is used goes for about 50% of new.
