Suspension How To Replace Upper Control Arm Bushing?

Car is a 91' GT, it's a daily driver. After not finding someone selling a pair of the no longer made FRPP control arms I bought an old pair off of a 94'. From talking to the techs at MaximumMotorsports they say it's a struggle to get the bushing out without bending or damaging the control arm. Anyone here done the job and have any tricks/tips to pass on?

I found the replacement bushing per another thread, here is the link.

Thanks in advance,

What I read to do and worked very well is to use a drill with a drill bit. Just drill a bunch of holes through the bushing and eventually it will start to collapse and you'll be able to pull it out with some pliers.

Propane torch. Melt that sucker out of there. Seriously. You could mess around with presses and punches or deal with it with extreme authority.

You guys rock. Thank you!

I think it has a metal case, part is en route. Doing my homework before I get myself in a pickle.

I was going to use marine grease for all bushing, both rubber and urethane. That sound correct?
