Progress Thread My Kenne Bell Twin Screw'd Foxbody thread, (new addition to the family)

You sure? My flowmaster IRS pipes have the same hanger setup... Pretty sure it's just because it's on a Fox that it's not right (unless you specified the hangers when you ordered them).
I did not know that but they did know this was going on a fox. I'll see if an exhaust shop can remove those hangers and move them to the inside.

The VRS tail pipes look great! Only thing wrong so far from visual is the hanger at the tip is welded in the wrong direction.
Those tailpipes came out really nice even if they have the wrong hangers on them.

Thanks! To be fair to VRS as soon as I told them I need IRS tails for my Fox I told them to forget that I even have a Fox (i was afraid of confusion through email and over the phone). So I told them to just make me tails for a 99-04 Cobra w/ IRS and that appears to be exactly what I got so I'm happy.

I will cut off the hangers and then relocate them once I get them installed. I finally got the dang clutch pawl off last night and new aluminum clutch quadrant on. I don't have too much left to do to get this thing on the road.

Short list:
install FRPP proportion valve
reconnect brake booster and brake switch, install seat
adjust clutch
bleed brakes
install my Pypes flow tubes, mufflers and tail pipes.
Get updated pictures and acquire Grundy insurance for 10k-12k agreed value hopefully
test and adjust brakes
get alignment
hit up @GroverDill for fender rolling and a brew

I just got off the phone with Grundy and sad to say if you even mention that you will drive the vehicle to work once a month they will not insure you. This is extremely lame. You can drive your car anywhere with unlimited miles but you drive it to work once it's against the policy rules :nono:

That's ridiculous

What's to keep you from driving to the establishment right next to your work?

...and oh yeah... I forgot there was an IRS swap in this thread. hehe
Easy to forget since I haven't had any relevant pictures lately for it. Everything lately has been prepping the gas tank for install, aligning my wheels, adjusting ride height, wrestling with brake booster & clutch. Just nothing really exciting but my wheels just might touch the ground for the first time in a long time by Monday or so. :)

I use CWG (Continental Western Group) for my insurance on the notch... I set it high at $15k agreed value and I think I'm allowed like 5k miles per year. I didn't see anything that said I can't drive it to work, just that I'm limited on miles and it must be parked in the garage. Oh, and it's like $165/year.

Yes, with value of what I have in it, you have to have a second car Ie every driver has a car and Fox is a fun car. They dont care if you take it work once in a while, just cant be your dd.
