Doby has been under coated!
Now I just need to let it dry and then these go on!
I'll be running the brake lines, fuel lines and emergency brake lines this week. I also need to do the modifications to the rear end too.

Got my youngest grandson here with us tonight. Here's a picture of him and my youngest boy Andy
Really sweet boy Liam is, but you must NOT let him out of your sight unless you want something disassembled.
The taller one, Andy, is the one pushing me to finish Doby so he can have my truck.

It's going to be sunny and in the eighties here today. In Downtown Tulsa there are various festivals going on this weekend, usually in Oklahoma if you want something to do to entertain yourself and your family, and there is nothing on TV, you maybe have a contest on who has the most earwax or maybe belly button lint......Could be considered a little boring. Now you know why Street Outlaws is out of OKC, those guys got tired of the belly button competition and realized they had cars.
So, I'm getting ready to go lay down under Doby and do some scrubbing in a few minutes here. The festivals don't kick off till about 11:00 to 12:00, so I have some time.
Do y'all realize how close I am to putting NEW parts on Doby?
I hope to see this car around Tulsa sometime.

Thanks man, I'm thrilled just with the idea I can start putting it back together now!
So yesterday I got the new brake lines all stretched out and found out I didn't get new p-clips with them.
Today I'll run by oreilly's to get those and some new capscrews. I need to see how much it'll cost for the new fuel lines. I'm getting solid SS lines. Oreilly's used to have straight sticks up to six feet long. A couple of those should take care of it.
Any tips on running the lines from y'all will be appreciated. I think I can do it easy enough, but I've been prone to overlook obvious stuff in the past too.

Keep in mind that the blue AN fittings require a 37 degree flaring tool. A standard automotive or household plumbing tool is 45 degrees and cannot be used with AN flare fittings. If you do, the flare is subjected to too much stress when the fitting is tightened, and is likely to fail or leak.

I will buddy, still a bit away. I'm glad I painted it when I did, that keeps me motivated. Easier to invasion what it will be.
