My Birthday is in November. I need to figure out what I'm doing to the Mustang. Christmas is shortly after so I can probably get a little combo of them. I already have a Novi 2200, ID1000 injectors, cat back, solid Drive shaft, axles, Drag radials. I want bigger numbers for Wanna Go Fast 1/2 mile drag and I want to destroy my buddies GTR. He pulls on me a little right now. I'm fairly positive 100 more wheel HP would take him.

Billet oil pump gears and timing chain sprocket followed by the beefcake torque booster (8 rib pulley set with smaller blower pulley and a waste gate). Set the waste gate for 12 or more lbs... Retune it and you'll be in business. ;)

I've been considering the gears but I'm not sure I'm believing all the hype. There are particular circumstances under which they are breaking. When the sump cavitates the gears experience jerk, when you use a two step, hit the hard limiter and so fourth. I'm not that hard in the car she's my baby. I never take it to the hard limiter and don't hold high rpms long enough to deplete the oil in the pan. The car is really a weekend warrior not a racecar. I want better track times but not at the cost of blowing my engine from power shifting and or dragging the limiter. Those couple of tenths aren't worth it to me.

I hear ya. I have heard that vibration can have an impact as well. As the power increases so does the frequency at which the crank vibrates... I am not an expert with that stuff by no means, but I have read that it can vibrate outside of what the factory damper is rated for. This vibration affects the OPGs since its crank driven. It's not really something I want to press to test, so when I get back and install the procharger, I will be careful not to hit the rev-limiter and I wont turn the boost up until I replace them. I consider them insurance.

Man...the GTR, what a goddamn awesome car. That's a tough one to go up against for sure. About a year ago in the mountains I was about to head home and a Gallardo, R8, Viper and GTR came screaming by me. I turned my bike around and I was gonna follow them. First off, these weren't some retired CVS hunting grandpas...they knew what they were doing (atlanta motorsports park is just a few miles south of the mountains). Man...what a ride!!! Those GTRs are insane! Ya they are definitely fast, but to see them in the curves is mind boggling....even while on a litre bike. Instantaneous is the only word I could describe that car and what it could do. Amazing. It definitely lead the pack.

At the end they all pulled into the same parking lot and parked next to my truck so I could drool over them all a little while longer while I loaded up haha. Man....what a day.

I have no advice to offer ya mod wise, at least you only have to focus on a drag race to beat it. They call it Godzilla for a reason haha.
