Has any one out there attempt to put an nrg short hub & quick release on there fox ? I ordered vehicle specific parts & can't figure out how it goes or if I need to take off more components to make it work.

The hub had the same shape as the shaft, so it was as simple as placing it on and then tightening the bolt. Then the small piece of the quick release is bolted to the hub, and the larger is bolted to the steering wheel.

It's a '92. I modified the hub because if you don't, it sits way forward. I used a dremel to bore the hub out a bit so it would sit back.
So those pics are an aftermarket wheel on an air bag column?
I've been considering doing a steering wheel since my air bag isn't connected, but most people say it doesn't work right on a 90 or newer column.
Does your horn work?
Thanks

That is correct. They say it doesn't work simply because it doesn't slide down the shaft far enough out of the box. I bored it out with a dremel and used a nut to space the distance for the bolt that tightens the hub down. The horn would work if i spliced the wires but I haven't done so because of the quick release (which obviously isn't necessary), so I left the wires tucked in the hub cavity.
