That is correct. They say it doesn't work simply because it doesn't slide down the shaft far enough out of the box. I bored it out with a dremel and used a nut to space the distance for the bolt that tightens the hub down. The horn would work if i spliced the wires but I haven't done so because of the quick release (which obviously isn't necessary), so I left the wires tucked in the hub cavity.

Sounds fairly simple, especially since I have a buddy with a machine shop that could easily open up the bore.
The horn was my main concern and I've seen reproduction Ford Buttons for the horn.
