Can a tune be converted from E85 to pump gas and be safe enough to drive the car to the tuner locally? I am trying to safely avoid the flatbed cost to get to the tuners.

If this is not safe or pretty easy then Ill prolly just cough up the cash for the flatbed.

To be clear I "think" remove 30% fuel and pull some timing would make it safe enough to drive to the tuner to be dialed in.

You will be adjusting the tune considerably. Email your current tune to your tuner and see if they can make these adjustments for you. If you are unfamiliar with tuning I recommend against altering the tune with global changes such as "remove 30% fuel"

"I know nothing"-Col. Schulz reference lol. That said I wouldn't mess with that tune either. Waaaay to much $$ invested to worry about a tow charge IMO. Easy for me to say but I'd just eat the extra costs.

@84Ttop wouldn't the area of the tuning tables associated with regular driving be close enough to drive to a tuner - I.E. little to no timing and fuel?[/QUOTE}
Not as close as you think. I would imagine the car will have fuel in the oil and the engine washed down pretty good after a long drive. The load calculations for fuel consumption on gas vs E85 are quite a ways apart
