There's no way my aching back would allow me to do that anymore(arm curl those darn 30 ton heads lol). At least now you have 2 good boat anchors.

Congrats on getting it all stripped down. Now the fun part starts. New shiney parts! And more powahhh!

I waited until scrap prices were up and got rid of a bunch of iron a few years ago. Made a few hundred bucks lol. Now I have a few other things to go when it happens again.

My toddler saw the Mustang for the first time ever. Promptly had to go park his power wheels next to it.

A little while later, plopped him in the pass seat and fired it up. He promptly told me he doesn't like it. :(

Too funny. I remember giving my son his first ride in a "hot rod". Probably around 5 years old at the time and it was to loud/stinky for him(70 nova w/ dumped Flowmasters). Last year he kept begging me to drive the mustang(he's 23 as of yesterday). Man they grow up to quick.

So my very first Fox I got back in 1998 and ended up wrecking it at the track in 1999... Well I bought it back from the insurance company for $500 and then put my drivetrain into a 87 roller that I got for $1500. I payed a shop $500 to do the swap for me and they also got to keep the shell/remainder of the 88 coupe. They were going to get the title for the 88 as well once they finished but they screwed me around and never did complete all the work so I never gave them the title.

Fast forward to the beginning of this month, I got a message on facebook from a guy asking about the car. He said he bought it from a guy and was trying to get the title for it, supposedly it's still in my name... He planned to fix it up, etc. but then posted it for sale on FB. I went and looked at it and I'm thinking about picking it up for cheap as a roller... but I've got to stop by the DMV on the way home to ask about filing for a lost title since it's supposedly still in my name.

Anyways, here's some pics of how it sits, a lot has been repaired as it hit the wall on the drivers side and the hood had flown up in the incident. The cowl isn't that bad and looks mostly fixed. The worst part looks like the drivers rear wheel well arch. It needs the surface rust sanded off and some primer thrown on it.
