So I have a problem and a question. I have a 98 and where the heater core hooks to the manifold is leaking. Not the hose it's below the harness that the hose clamps to. Now my question is how big of a pain is it to fix that? Second question other than the k member, what electrical problems would come up if I switched out the 4.6 with a 302?

1. Manifold is likely cracking. They're famous for it. Just skip the dorman one and buy a Ford/frpp one.
2. If you want a 302, sell the 98, buy a 94/95 and call it a day.
3. There's this big warning at the top of the page that warns everyone not to start threads like 'help' that provide no detail at all about the subject matter. A lot of people will read 'help' and immediately skip over the person who can't follow directions.

i second the skipping a swap, just sell your 4.6 or hell put it on Craigslist and say willing to trade for 94/95 i bet you could find someone willing to trade!

also the best way to replace that hose is alot of patience and tiny asian hands
