As much as I'd like to be able to tune myself, I didn't want to self-learn and potentially mess something up, so I left the tuning to a professional. I do read that thread though so I can understand some things and have an idea of what's going on.

For me, not very well. They do in 3rd. My buddy with an 03 cobra with just over 500whp has 305 r888's and says he has no problems with traction in 2nd, though.

Stay away from advance auto and Autozone, too. I've been in that situation and it sucks. My cable came from Ford for 27 bucks a few years ago.
